CITY OF ORANGE
A Slice Of Old Town Charm
Yorba Linda has a rich history dating back to the 1800's. One of it's primary claims to fame is that it's the birthplace of Richard Nixon. It now boasts the Presidential Library in his name. The west side of town is the older part and where you'll find that Yorba Linda is very eclectic. There are little farmhouses next door to mansions. As you move east, the homes get newer and are more standard tract type neighborhoods. There's a quaint, old Main Street town center area that is just in the midst of revitalization and hosts many community events. There will be lots of new dining, a movie theater and shopping opening up this year. The schools are rated as some of the best in the stateIf you are looking for a small town feel but still centrally located to all the wonderful things in Orange County, you will love Yorba Linda.
Homes For Sale In Orange:
Horses in Orange
When it comes to Orange County Horse Properties, Yorba Linda is where you can get some of the best value for your money. Most horse properties sit on about half an acre, give or take a little. The trails include a 90 acre dry lakebed, Chino Hills state park and about 100 miles of trails that run throughout the city. Please see the trail map below. Most of the equestrian activity is on the west side, older part of town. Because the lots are relatively small, many residents use the city equestrian center called Paxton Equestrian Center. It boasts an immaculately maintained large arena, small arena and fully enclosed round pen. Yorba Linda has it's own feed store, called Yorba Linda Feed, where people can buy hay and supplies for their livestock as well as their pets.
